The diagnosis of hearing loss begins with an Audiologist that listens to the parent patient as the history is revealed. Soundfield Testing and "play audiometry" will asssit the audiologist in determining if your child has a hearing loss.
Better Hearing Healthcare is your Right
Hearing loss is an invisible disorder. An audio and visual simulation of the patient’s hearing loss will be demonstrated to a family member or significant other.
Hearing loss is not just a function of age. Universal Newborn Hearing Screenings are available because hearing loss occurs with infants. Adult hearing loss may be a result of genetics, diabetes, smoking, cardiovascular disease, noise exposure, medications and aging.
A "Board Certified" Doctor of Audiology is the gold standard for diagnostic audiology services and hearing aid fittings. The importance of ruling out a medical condition is essential in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss. Dr. Martinetti is a Board Certified Audiologist and will work closely with your physician to obtain the highest level of hearing healthcare.

Middle Ear Testing
Tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing are combined tests to assess the middle ear that may have congestion, fluid, or ear infection. An understanding of the middle ear function is necessary to rule out a medical problem.
Tinnitus (Ringing in the Ears) Evaluation /Consultation
Ringing in the ears (tinnitus) may be intermittent or constant. This disorder may be debilitating or just an annoyance. All patients with tinnitus vary in their tolerance of tinnitus. Testing and consultation together allow us to prepare a realistic individual treatment program.
